A gusty wind advisory remains in force over the Phoenix group and the Northern Line islands.

The public is advised to take precautions to minimize threats.

Today’s weather forecast issued at 04:15am Tuesday 07^th February 2023 and valid until 6pm.

Situation: The Intertropical convergence zone remains north of Washington Island and slowly moving westward. Assiociated clouds scattered over and about the northern line islands. 

For the Northern Line:

Gentle to moderate easterly to northeasterly winds of 6-16kts and gusty at times.

Moderate to rough seas.

For Washington:

Today: Mostly cloudy with brief showers.

Tonight: Cloudy with light showers.

Fanning:

Today: Sunny apart from partly cloudy with brief showers.

Tonight: Cloudy with brief to light showers.

For Christmas:

Today: Cloudy with brief showers, becoming sunny later.

Tonight: Fine apart from few brief showers.

The Phoenix group:

Gentle to fresh easterly to northeasterly winds of 8-19kts and gusty at times.
