Situation

A trough of low pressure north of the Kiribati Islands is gradually drifting north-eastward. Its associated cloud bands continue to bring cloudy conditions across the Kiribati Islands and Banaba.

Advisory Warning

Rainfall Advisory level #01: A moderate rainfall is expected over the Kiribati group and Banaba. The public is advised to take necessary precautions to minimize potential risks.

 Strong Wind Warning #06: A strong wind warning is now in force for the Kiribati group and Banaba, especially in areas affected by convective clouds. The public is advised to take precautions to reduce possible threats.
