A gusty wind advisory remains in force over the Northern Line islands. The public is advised to take precautions to minimize possible threats.

 

Tonight’s weather forecast for the Northern Line Islands and the Phoenix group issued at 0611pm Saturday 04th May 2024 and valid until 6am.

                                          

Situation: The Intertropical convergence zone lies slow-moving over the northernmost islands in the Line group and extends westward to over the Northern Islands in the Kiribati group. Meanwhile, a trough remains situated south of the Southern Line group to the south of the Phoenix Islands.

 

For the Northern Line Islands:

Gentle to moderate easterly to northeasterly winds of 05-15kts and fresh at times.

Moderate to rough seas.
