A trough of low pressure remains north of the Kiribati group and is slowly moving westward, with associated cloud affecting parts of the Northern Islands.

Advisory Warning

Spring Tide Advisory #09:

Tide predictions for the 18th and 19th for the month of April 2025 indicate sea levels of 2.80 meters and above.  Residents living along the coasts are advised to take preparatory measures to eliminate possible threats.

Gusty wind Advisory #10:

A gusty wind advisory remains in force over the Kiribati group and Banaba. The public is advised to take precautions to minimize possible threats.
