Situation:  The Intertropical Convergence Zone now lies east of Christmas Island and slowly moving westward. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure remains situated west of the Phoenix group

Northern Line Islands:

Light to moderate E-SE winds of 03-14kts.

Slight to moderate seas.

Washington:

Tonight: Partly cloudy with light showers.

Tomorrow: Sunny with isolated brief showers.

Tonight: Fine apart from brief showers.
